A group of friends and I experienced the Safe House for the first time and can't wait to get back. There was quite a wait and we didn't have reservations but we enjoyed drinks and checked things out. While we were sleuthing around, we saw some agents enter a phone booth and not come out. Our group of Agents went into the booth as well. We walked down a long hallway and we ended up outside. FOILED AGAIN! It was ok though because we had finished our work inside and had to move on to our next location. Thanks for a great night and we'll be back!

I just have to tell you how great our evening was! Chef Dan, our servers John and Mary, and our bartender were all incredible. . .Our guests raved about the Rehearsal Dinner and what a wonderful location to have it at. The food, service, atmosphere - everything was exactly how I had planned it to be -- fantastic! The "Hail to the Chief" at the end for my brother's birthday was well orchestrated and so much fun. I will let everyone know how great it is to have a party at your establishment! Thank you - thank you - thank you!

My favorite stop in Milwaukee, however, was the mysterious Safe House. The Safe House is in one of the city's oldest buildings and has served as a speakeasy and jazz club in years past. It's been The Safe House since 1966 and hasn't franchised out, thank goodness. [Full

Dear Control:
It was actually a very lucky stumble-upon in Milwaukee. Three
of my friends and I just visited Milwaukee a few days ago.
After doing the touristy stuff (i.e. Brewery tour and Brewers
game), my friends and I set out to see what the city of Milwaukee
could offer the night life. After going from bar to bar being
disappointed by their originality, we stepped into the NewsRoom
Pub. This exquisitely quaint bar wasn't the type of entertainment
we had sought, but by pure luck we were seated in a reserved,
closed off booth. Not knowing what was going to happen, we
stood up to leave when...it happened. The room started to
spin and the doors opened to the greatest bar we had ever
seen. Being led down the dance floor and trying to take in
everything the Safe House had to offer was overwhelming. The
entire experience was more than perfect. The entrance we made
into the bar, the staff, and, oh yeah, the bachelorette parties.
Beautiful women, good drinks, and good times. Best experience
at a bar ever. I have tried to describe this experience to
a lot of people, but the magnitude of how great the Safe House
really is does not come across. Thank you for a great great
time.

You guys are the greatest. While visiting Milwaukee for the
Harley 100th Anniversary our 8 team crew stopped by the Safe
House for a secret mission. It was also my sister-in-laws
birthday on Aug. 31. "Her Majesty" was well received by all
and many an unknown spy (or double agent) took pictures of
her majesty in her chair. What a great way to celebrate 2
birthdays in one shot.

Dear
Control:
I would like to start out by thanking you for the terrific time
that we had there. You provided the perfect cover for my mission:
proposing to my girlfriend. When we showed up on the first of
July, she did not have any idea what was going on. The spystress
who set up the "big hit" for me was absolutely wonderful.
You know that you got a great person when they can get their
guests down on their knees. The service was great: especially
the fact that you sent a bucket of bubbly to our table! The
food was great, the puzzles were terrific, and once again I
must say how great the service was. The best part is that the
head spy taped the incident in question. I wanted to make sure
that the proof got to the right sources, so I am including enough
for the proper bribe. We will be sure to frequent these headquarters
often. Control forever! |

I just wanted to take this opportunity
to say you guys ROCK!! I was recently in Wisconsin for the first
time and my boyfriend and his friends took me to the Safe House.
Walking in the door...I was a bit nervous...I did not know what
to expect. Well of course I had no idea what the password was so
I had to embarrass myself by...hula hooping! Going inside there
was so much to look at..unlike the clubs down here in Columbus.
Safe House is a great place...I have told so many of my friends
about it and that I hope they could go to it one day...don't worry
the password is safe with me!! |

I've only got a minute to write - we're in the process of tailing
a group of bad guys who evidently haven't gotten the word that the

with definite Beta Sigma Phi traits. Please be on your guard! I
enjoyed my recent reconnaissance mission at your establishment.
After polishing off several Spy's demise concoctions, I was able
to identify a couple of very suspicious characters. We will continue
to monitor the situation. In closing, let me offer you and your

We were the group of guys celebrating a bachelor party, and with

A friend took us there years ago and we loved it so much that every

Dear Control:
Allow me to begin by congratulating you on the Safehouse's anniversary.
I have heard it said that a bar or nightclub with a theme needs
to change the theme once every ten years or so, but the Safe House
is definitely an exception to that rule. The theme, the imagination
put into the design of the building, and of course you staff always
make the Safehouse a delight to visit. I'm definitely a regular.
As a matter of fact, I'm a VIO, along with another friend of mine.
Between the two of us, I'm sure you could check in on most evenings
and find at least one of us at the Safehouse. Mondays through Thursdays
we come to play Blackjack, and I often show up on Fridays and Saturdays
as well. But, strange as it may sound, I'm not a drinker. I don't
drink at all. Ken drinks in moderation. For the most part we both
drink coke...You've done a superb job with the Safehouse...of course
all the waitresses and staff whose names I still don't have straight
deserve a lot of the credit for creating a friendly atmosphere with
great service. I wish you and the Safehouse well on its next years.
It would be hard to go wrong. |

Just a note to thank you for all your courtesies during my recent
visit to your beautiful restaurant. The tour through the "Safe

I have a friend visiting your area, I am going to recommend they
stop in and see your two beautiful places. I can't wait to get a

If there is anything I can do for you up Madison way, please don't
hesitate to ask.
Once again, my deepest thanks.
